Now, This Is The Last Straw!
Constructing an 8,000-ton building is no picnic. But the Longaberger basket company of Newark, Ohio, really got a handle on it. The company designed its new headquarters to look like one of its popular baskets. The handles must be specially heated so ice won't form on them and crash through the glass roof. Two cranes lifted each 75-ton handle into place. Longaberger won't put all its employees in one basket, though. The company plans to build four more basket buildings.
