Bean Hits the Big Screen
Rowan Atkinson's goofy TV character, Mr. Bean, has been giving folks the giggles in Britain for years. Now the comedian (whose TV show is also seen on PBS stations in the U.S.) has cooked up Bean, a movie about Mr. Bean's trip to America. "Children love him," says Atkinson. Mr. Bean's "a bundle of fun to watch, from a safe distance." Bean, a megahit in Europe, arrives in U.S. theaters on November 7.
