A Tee-rific Role Model
Nanacy Lopez, 40, has been playing golf since she was barely taller than a golf club. She began teeing off at age 8, and won her first tournament by the time she was 12. Last week she won a 1997 Hispanic Heritage Award for her contributions to Hispanic culture. Lopez, the mom of three girls, credits her hole-in-one success to her dad, who taught her how to play.
