He's Mowing The Distance
Ryan Tripp of Beaver, Utah, is mowing down an old record. He is raising money for a friend's medical bills by setting a new record for the longest lawn-mower ride: 3,200 miles! With his dad following in a car, Ryan, 12, chugs along at just 10 miles per hour. He takes pit stops for snacks and rest. Ryan set out from Salt Lake City, Utah, on August 9 and plans to arrive in Washington on September 25. Says Ryan: "We might mow the lawn in front of the Capitol!" What a Tripp!
