Way to Go, Grandma!
Last month Jennifer Murray, 57, became the first woman to fly a helicopter around the world. With a four-leaf clover in her pocket for luck, the British grandmother spun over 26 countries in less than 100 days, stopping only for food, fuel and rest. Her whirlybird gave Murray and co-pilot Quentin Smith magical peeks at polar bears in the Arctic and at the high Himalayan peaks in Asia. "I've always loved adventure and challenge," says Murray. She also loves kids: her amazing trip raised nearly $1 million for the charity Save the Children.
