Tara's Blades Of Glory
Pint-size ice skater Tara Lipinski leaped her way to a giant feat: she is the youngest U.S. figure skating champion ever. The 14-year-old Texan outskated defending world champ Michelle Kwan this month in Tennessee. After Michelle fell twice, Tara glided into first place. Tara's routine was packed with perfect jumps and a tricky triple-loop-triple-loop combination that most skaters can't do. "Just being a champion, no matter what the age, is great," she said.
