Top 5 Fastest Growing States
According to the recently released 2000 U.S. Census, the nation's population is 281 million-a 13% increase over 1990. Eight states, including the top three on this list, have added so many people that they are gaining seats in the U.S. House of Representatives.
1. Nevada 66%
2. Arizona 40%
3. Colorado 30%
4. Utah 29%
5. Idaho 28%
