Candy Coats Of Many Colors
Think blue M&Ms are a big deal? Forget it. Last week snackers rejoiced over 18 new M&M colors, including gold, maroon, purple and aqua. Now there are 24 colors in all.
M&Ms Colorworks is the name of this new batch of bonbons that melt in your mouth, not in your hand. You won't find them in a vending Specialty stores carry bins of each color, and shoppers can pick and mix their favorites.
If you want to taste the next generation of M&Ms, it'll cost you. Colorworks, made of the same stuff as plain M&Ms, cost about twice as much per pound. And for now they're sold in just 26 cities, none farther west than Denver.
