Spotlight: Melissa Joan Hart
When Melissa Joan Hart, 20, starred as Clarissa on Nickelodeon, she had an explanation for it all. "Clarissa was very cool," says Melissa.
In her new ABC comedy, Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, Melissa plays a girl who finds out on her 16th birthday that she's a witch. Sabrina has a talking cat, and she can turn a nasty classmate into a pineapple. Juicy stuff--and also very cool.
Melissa is very busy with her new show, but you can still see her on Nickelodeon. Reruns of Clarissa Explains It All are popular around the world. Melissa hopes that Sabrina will cast a magic spell on its audience as well. "We have a lot of special effects," she says. "It's pretty amazing."
