Shhh! The Wedding Is A Secret!

John F. Kennedy Jr. and Jim Carrey played hide-and-seek with reporters last month and won! Both celebrities managed to sneak off and get married without millions of news cameras chasing them down the aisle.

Kennedy, 35, was born the year his father was elected President. He's been tracked by reporters all his life. But he kept them away from his September 21 wedding to Carolyn Bessette, 30. Only about 40 guests witnessed the secret event on Cumberland Island off Georgia's coast.

Actor Carrey, 34, aced his vows to actress Lauren Holly, 32, on a cliff in Malibu, California, September 23. The only guests were her brother and Carrey's daughter Jane, 8.

Reporters are surely welcome at the next big celebrity wedding. The bride and groom are reporters too! The Daily Planet's Lois Lane and Clark Kent (Superman) are tying the knot after 58 years. The super event takes place in the October 9 DC comic book and on TV's Lois & Clark on October 6. The couple will honeymoon in Hawaii, where an old enemy will cross their path. A nosy TV cameraman, perhaps? Stay tuned.
