One Ball, Two Records
What a hit! Baltimore Oriole Eddie Murray just became the third player in history (after Willie Mays and Hank Aaron) to get 500 home runs and 3,000 hits. Last week millionaire Michael Lasky made baseball history himself, by offering $500,000 for the record-making ball, which was caught by a fan. It's the most ever paid for a sports memento. Lasky plans to put the ball on public display: "This is for the people of Baltimore."
