The Cabbage Patch Kid
Believe it or not, this cabbage grown by farmer Josiah Moffitt, 8, was too small to win a prize at the Alaska State Fair! Alaska gets up to 19 hours of sunshine every day in the summer, which helped Josiah's cabbage grow to 27.9 pounds. The winning cabbage was 89.9 pounds! Any farming tips? "I used Miracle-Gro" fertilizer, Josiah says. Looks as if it worked.
