Magical Mara Plays Matilda
When she made her first movie, Mrs. Doubtfire, Mara Wilson was only 6. Now she's 8 and the star of Matilda, which opens in August. Roald Dahl wrote the book Matilda about a girl with special powers who gets even with her principal and parents. "Matilda and I are a lot alike," Mara says. "We both like to read, and we both like school. But her parents are really mean and weird!"
