Climbing a tree is a good way to celebrate Earth Day, April 20. But scaling these evergreens would be a real stretch for your limbs! The nation's tallest tree is about as high as a 30-story building. Here are the loftiest living skyscrapers in the U.S.:

1. Coast redwood Tallest:
    363 feet Humboldt Redwoods State Park, California

2. Coast Douglas fir Tallest:
    329 feet Coos County, Oregon

3. Giant sequoia Tallest:
    General Sherman, 275 feet Sequoia National Park, California

4. Noble fir Tallest:
    272 feet Mount St. Helens National Volcanic Monument, Washington

5. Sugar pine Tallest:
    270 feet Yosemite National Park, California
