She's Up, Up and Away!
Staying alert isn't easy after 15 hours in a hot-air balloon. Jetta Schantz solves the problem by singing and counting the icicles dangling from her multicolored balloon. Schantz, 36, just set the women's record for longest flight: a 15-hour, 11-minute trip from McAlester, Oklahoma, to Wellborn, Texas. She also holds the women's records for distance and altitude. "Each flight is a new adventure," she says.
