Sleek Street
Skier Picabo Street was not playing hide-and-seek with the competition in Spain last week. She raced down an 11,141-foot course in 1 minute 54.06 seconds. That made her the first U.S. woman to win an event at the world skiing championships. Picabo (peek-a-boo), 24, was named after her favorite childhood game. But she does not play games on the slopes. "I attacked the course the whole way down," she said.
