Lost and
For nearly 90 years this marble statue, Cupid, has stood in a New York City building. Now research by art historian Kathleen Weil-Garris Brandt has convinced experts that Cupid is a lost work by the great artist Michelangelo. It has a brilliance, says Brandt, that "only Michelangelo coud do."
