Spotlight: Kristen Dunst
Watch for 12-year-old actress Kristen Dunst as Judy in the movie Jumanji, out December 10. The cast of the adventure movie spent two weeks filming swamp scenes in a water tank. "Robin Williams put on little shows to make us laugh," she says.
Last year Dunst played Amy in Little Women. "I read Little Women so many times," she says.
"I always wanted to be either Jo or Amy." Even before she was in movies, Dunst loved to act. She and a friend used to act out the book Harriet the Spy. "We would go around with notebooks and pretend we were spying on people," she says."]Dunst is an eighth-grader in Los Angeles. She's even a cheerleader. "So far," she says, "I've only had to miss one game for work."
