Spotlight: Lacey Chabert

You may know her as smarty-pants 12-year-old Claudia Salinger on Party of Five. Actress Lacey Chabert, 13, says Claudia has it rough. "She might seem bossy, but I think it's because she worries," Lacey says of her character. "Now that she's in junior high, she doesn't feel as special."

Like her character, Lacey plays the violin. But she doesn't sleep in a tent in her living room as Claudia does. "I hope they let Claudia keep her tent. Kids love to ask me about that," she says.

Watch for Claudia's first boyfriend, and an end to her violin career, later this season. And listen for Lacey as the voice of Young Miriam in Prince of Egypt, an animated movie Steven Spielberg is producing.
