Winner At The World Series
What do Joseph Benavides, 11, the Braves and the Indians have in common? With hard work, they all earned a trip to the World Series.
Joseph's essay "Why I Love Baseball" took first prize in a Boys and Girls Club's national contest. Joseph, a Braves fan from Texas, won a trip to Atlanta to see the first two Series games and shake hands with Braves David Justice, Javier Lopez and Mark Lemke.
"It's a dream come true," Joseph said. "And we had good seats."
