Indians Brave The Series
Think you've waited a long time for the World Series? Don't complain! The Cleveland Indians waited 41 years to play in the World Series and haven't won it for 47 years. But now is their chance. Last week they beat the Seattle Mariners in four games out of six to win the American League championship.
This week the Indians face the Atlanta Braves, the National League champs. "They've been the best team all year, and we want to beat the best," said Atlanta third baseman Chipper Jones.
Who will come out on top? Watch the pitchers: Cleveland's Orel Hershiser and the Braves' Greg Maddux. The pitcher's mound, many predict, is where the battle will be won.
