A First-Family Fable
Former President Jimmy Carter used to tell his little daughter Amy tales about a kindly sea monster. Now they've made one into a book: The Little Baby Snoogle-Fleejer (Times Books), with illustrations by Amy, 27. Her drawing of a fishlike sea creature surprised her dad: "My vision of it was more like a large lizard."
