To find out what's on kids' minds, TFK polled 500 boys and girls, ages 9 to 12. We asked them which of the world's problems they "worry about a lot." Here are their top five answers:
1. The environment: 65%
2. Violence and terrorism: 59%
3. AIDS: 56%
4. Homelessness: 53%
5. The U.S. going to war: 43%
