![]() |
This girl is an NBA All-Star! On February 10, Crystal Williams was 1 of 3 teens to win an award from the National Basketball Association for outstanding community service. The prizes were presented on a national TV special. The winners met many stars, including basketball pro Vince Carter and MTV's Carson Daly.
"It's a big honor," says Crystal, 15, the youngest winner. She leads the Youth Government, a council that provides input to the mayor of Washington, D.C. She organized the Youth Summit 2000 in D.C., an event attended by 1,400 young citizens.
