A City Built of Lego Blocks

Nathan Sawaya captured kids' visions of a rebuilt New Orleans using 120,000 Lego blocks. He plans to unveil the sculpture at the New Orleans Public Library on November 17. On that day, city schools are to receive more than 1 million Lego bricks donated by U.S. kids. Sawaya hopes his creation brings joy to a city that lost so much in Hurricane Katrina. "My sculpture celebrates the rebirth of the city," he told TFK. "When people look at it, I want them to smile."
