Over the last two years, Dylan Desilva has sent 1,157 care packages to troops serving our country in Iraq and Afghanistan. Dylan, 13, lives in Brewster, Massachusetts. He got the idea for Cape Cod Cares for Our Troops when he was a Boy Scout. "We sent packages to six soldiers," he told TFK. "They sent back letters, and we kept going from there." Dylan has help from his family, friends and volunteers. Supplies are donated or paid for with cash donations. "We put a letter in our packages that says if you know anyone that isn't getting packages, please send this to them," he says. "We get letters back at least twice a week."
