5 Questions for Rob Thomas

The singer performs on the soundtrack for Meet the Robinsons, in theaters March 30

What attracted you to the project? Rob: I grew up with Disney movies, and those Disney songs are still important to me. So I thought it'd be nice to be part of that. TFK: What inspired your song "Little Wonders"? Rob: (My family) was going through a hard time. One night on tour, I was walking my dog, and he looked up at me with this smile. I thought, "You have to be careful, because when you get caught up in the bad, you totally miss these little moments." TFK: Lewis, the main character, is an inventor. What would you like to invent? Rob: A machine that would feed my dogs for me, so I wouldn't have to stop what I'm doing in the studio to feed them. TFK: If you had a time machine, where would you go first? Rob: I'd go back in time and have tea with some of my favorite people in history. TFK: What do you think 2037 will be like? Rob: I imagine there will be chips inside our bodies that help us communicate just using our thoughts.
