This month, Mathcounts celebrates its 25th anniversary. The national competition gives students the opportunity to sharpen math skills. For this year's winner, KEVIN CHEN, 15, the benefits have added up. He has accumulated nearly $20,000 in scholarships and a bit of fame. Kevin says Mathcounts has allowed him to "experience new things." Last month, he even received an award from TV talk show hosts Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa.
