As the voice of Rudy Kangaroo in Horton Hears a Who!, Josh Flitter, 13, gets to shine next to big stars Jim Carrey, Steve Carell and Carol Burnett. The animated movie, based on the book by Dr. Seuss, follows an elephant named Horton, who hears a voice coming from a speck of dust on a clover leaf. The speck turns out to be Whoville, home of the Whos. Most of Horton's friends doubt that Whoville exists, especially Rudy's mother, Sour Kangaroo. Rudy, stuck in his mother's pouch for way too long, must learn to stand on his own two feet. That works for Josh too. "I always liked Horton's message, 'A person's a person, no matter how small,' " he told TFK. "I'm the shortest person in my grade, and this makes me see that great things can come in small packages." Horton hits theaters on March 14.
