5 Questions for Shawn Johnson

The top U.S. gymnast sets her sights on the Summer Olympics in Beijing, China.

1 How does it feel to be both the U.S. and the world all-around champion?

It feels like a dream, but it is such an honor. I have worked almost my whole life for those titles. It is a dream come true.

2 What are your goals for the Beijing Olympics?

To represent the U.S. as best I can, but also to have fun. The only way I can perform is if I'm enjoying what I'm doing.

3 What have been some of your biggest challenges?

Finding the motivation and desire to keep me going. It's hard to work so hard, and work through pain and fear. But I know that what I am doing is worth it.

4 What is your favorite part of being a gymnast?

I love everything that comes with it. The competitions, the huge arenas and the sense of accomplishment and pride I get.

5 If you were not a gymnast, which sport would you want to try?

Either track and field or diving. I used to run and I loved it.
