Spotlight: Morgan and Madison Stock

"She inspires everyone," says Morgan Stock, 12, of her twin, Madison. Madison is legally blind in one eye. She also has cerebral palsy, a disease that limits the movement on the right side of her body. Still, Madison swims, shoots hoops and plays the trumpet. Her can-do attitude inspired Morgan (who is also visually impaired) to nominate her sister for a special honor: to carry the Olympic torch. This month, the Salt Lake Organizing Committee announced that both girls will carry the torch on its way to the 2002 Winter Games in Salt Lake City, Utah. They'll run about a quarter-mile in Missouri in January.
