Let him eat cake! On November 1, a very special gorilla at the Barcelona Zoo turned 35. The ape, named Floquet de Neu (Little Snowflake), celebrated with a big slice of birthday cake. Snowflake was brought as an infant from Equatorial Guinea, Africa. He is an albino—an animal that lacks pigment and therefore has translucent skin and white hair. Snowflake is the world's only known albino gorilla.
