In 1996, Reza Baluchi left his home in Iran to spread a message of peace. Baluchi, 30, has traveled through six continents, covering more than 46,000 miles. Last spring, he set out from Los Angeles, California, to cross the United States on foot. He plans to end his journey in New York City this Thursday, to honor the victims of the September 11 terrorist attacks. Baluchi hopes his message travels far. "By being kind to others, you have a chance of achieving peace," he told TFK.
