Who can blame Doug Swingley for lavishing love on Cola and Stormy? His dogs were the key to his March 14 victory in Alaska's Iditarod Sled Dog race. Swingley, of Lincoln, Montana, mushed his dogs along the 1,100-mile trail in nine days, 58 minutes, beating his own 1995 record by nearly two hours.
