Ryan Lanagan, 10, was skiing with his family in New Hampshire last week when he lost his way in the snow. Night was falling, and temperatures were dropping fast. Luckily, Ryan's big brother T.J., far left, had told him that snow can insulate a hiker from the cold. So Ryan dug a hole in the chest-high snow and survived a 15°F night. Rescuers found him the next day. He was "a little scared," he admitted, but in perfect health.
