He's baaaack! "His Airness," Michael Jordan, is returning to the basketball arena. Only this time he won't be wearing a jersey and sneakers to the games.
Last week, one year after he retired from the NBA, Jordan announced that he will join the Washington Wizards as part owner and head of basketball operations.
In his new position, Jordan will be doing everything from planning ways to increase game attendance to recruiting players for the team.
Even though he won't be playing, Jordan won't be staying off the court. He plans to practice with the Wizards to keep them motivated. "The best way to evaluate a player is to look in his eyes and see how scared he is," said Jordan. The Wizards had better start practicing their magic!
