Roger Carver, 13, has won more medals for snowboarding than he can remember. "I think there are around 100," he told TFK. "But medals aren't that important." When Roger was 5, he followed his older brother onto the slopes. Since then, he has won 22 national championships. He spends nearly 30 hours a week practicing. "That's so I don't get rusty," he says. When Roger is not on the slopes, he likes to fish and skateboard, and sometimes he crochets his own winter hats. But mostly he just loves to sail above the snow.
