Dean's Run Is All Done

Democrat Howard Dean, the former governor of Vermont, ended his campaign for the Presidency last Wednesday. Dean had spent months in the lead. Then he spent some long, tough weeks in third place. In the end, he did not have enough money or support from voters to keep running. But he promised to stay involved.

"I will support the nominee of our party," Dean said. "I will do everything I can to beat George W. Bush."

General Wesley Clark had dropped out the week before. The next big challenge: Super Tuesday, on March 2. Senator John Kerry, the front-runner, and Senator John Edwards will battle it out in 10 states at once!
