Teachers are putting way too much pressure on us about these tests ["Putting Kids to the Test," 3/5]. There's so much to learn that we don't remember half of it in time for the tests. It's unfair that we're being pushed to pass these tests and don't really understand why we have to take them. --Tabitha B., 12 Kansas
I think standardized testing is good, but now schools just focus
on the subjects that are needed for their school to pass. They do
not teach all of the other subjects fully.

It's fantastic what Jessica Porter is doing for the military
families who have lost members in the war in Iraq ["Spotlight," 3/5]. I am a seamstress too, and I appreciate the time and effort
she is putting into each quilt. We need more giving people like
Jessica.

You got some of the Girl Scout cookies mixed up in your last
issue ["Top 5 Best-Selling Girl Scout Cookies," 3/12]. Three of
the cookies were labeled wrong. Take it from me--I'm a Girl
Scout.

Of course, you are correct. We regret the error.
