The Pledge of Allegiance should not be changed ["Pledging
Change?" 4/2]. It's okay that Michael Newdow doesn't believe in
God, but other people do. The people who don't believe in God
just shouldn't say "under God."

Michael Newdow is right. People shouldn't have to say the pledge
if they do not believe in God. The pledge is supposed to
represent all Americans, not just those who believe in God.

I don't think that it's a good idea for the U.S. to hand over
political control of Iraq to the Iraqi government so soon ["One
Year Later," 4/2]. The country is still very unstable. The U.S.
should stay there and help, at least until all the fighting
stops.

I've loved collecting things since I was very young ["Kids Take
Up Collections," 4/2]. None of my collections are
valuable--except for my coin collection--but they hold great
memories for me. Even though it takes a lot of time, collecting
is fun.
