Q You've won the WNBA's Most Valuable Player award two years in a row. What's it like to be so famous and successful?

A I used to go anywhere and be anonymous. That's been taken away. But this is an opportunity to make a difference in the world and make a mark on kids.

Q Before the WNBA was formed, you played hoops in Spain and Italy. Did you enjoy that?

A Yeah, it was awesome to travel around and see the sights. And now I speak fluent Italian! But I regret spending 11 years away from my mother.

Q Where did you get your "raise the roof" move, when you push your hands toward the ceiling?

A Well, I actually borrowed that from a teammate to celebrate a three-pointer. Now when I wake up in the morning, I'm raising the roof to get out of bed!

Q What athlete do you admire most?

A Michael Jordan. He never lets his team down.

Q What advice do you have for kids?

A Dream your dreams. Never give up on yourself.
