It's All Tied Up At 65!

It's hard to keep track! Just five days after St. Louis Cardinal Mark McGwire hit his 62nd home run to break the record, Chicago Cub Sammy Sosa hit his 62nd. "It's unbelievable," he said. "It can happen to two people, Mark and me."

Then McGwire sent number 63 over the fence. You guessed it. Last Wednesday Sosa blasted yet another homer, this one a grand slam that broke a tie with the San Diego Padres.

Who will wind up with the final record for most homers? We won't know until the season ends on September 27.

Meanwhile, Sosa shrugs off the pressure. "I think 62, 63 are pretty good for me," he said last week. "Now I want to take my team to the play-offs."
