And now she's putting on those famous glass slippers and waltzing into the title role of the musical Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella, airing November 2 on ABC. The movie also stars Whoopi Goldberg as the queen and Whitney Houston as the gold-dusted fairy godmother.
Fans of Brandy's album may be surprised by her sweet singing in Cinderella. "My best friends that are my age, they think I'm singing opera," she says. "But they think it's beautiful."
