Tricky knuckle-ball pitches earned Phil Nieko more than 3,000 strikeouts and 318 wins in his 24-year career. Now they've landed him a spot in the Baseball Hall of Fame. Niekro pitched for the Braves, in both Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Atlanta, retiring in 1987. He and brother Joe learned the knuckle ball from their dad, who had a sore arm. Says Phil: It was "the only thing he could throw."
