A Very Odd Friendship

This stray kitten is no fraidycat. Last summer Cat crawled into the pen of a 650-pound grizzly bear at Wildlife Images, an animal-rehabilitation center in Oregon. The center's director was afraid to watch, because grizzly bears have been known to eat baby animals. But Griz surprised everyone by giving Cat a snack instead!

Now the best buds eat, play and nap together every day. Cat has just one pet peeve: Griz likes to pick Cat up in his mouth and carry him!
