OFFICIAL RULES FOR FORD'S "PICK YOUR PARK" SWEEPSTAKES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. CHALLENGE STARTS APRIL 14, 2003 12:01 A.M. AND ENDS MAY 26, 2003 11:59 PM.

1. ELIGIBILITY: The challenge is open until May 26, 2003 to kids age 5 to 15 as of April 13, 2003 who are legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia. Entrants must receive permission from their parent/legal guardian prior to entry and have them sign the entry form. Employees and their immediate families (spouse, parents, children, siblings and their respective spouses), including household members of Time Inc., Ford Motor Company and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions and advertising and promotion agencies are not eligible to enter or win. This sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Time For Kids, and the independent judges whose decisions are final and binding in all respects. Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility qualifications of the winners.

2. HOW TO ENTER: To enter, visit www.timeforkids.com/parks and follow the instructions for submitting your answer to Ford's Pick Your Park Sweepstakes. If you do not have a computer, fill out the entry form and mail to: Ford's Pick Your Park Sweepstakes, Time For Kids, P.O. Box 5175; New York, NY 10185-5175. Mailed entries must be postmarked by May 19, 2003 and received by May 26, 2003. All entries become the property of the Sponsor. Sponsor will not acknowledge receipt of entries. Sponsor reserves the right to remove the sweepstakes from any web site(s) at any time prior to the entry deadline. Limit one entry per person and per email address per day. In the event of a dispute, entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. "Authorized Account Holder" means the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.

3. PRIZE DRAWING: One (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected in a random drawing. Winner will be selected on or about May 28, 2003. Selection will be conducted by Time For Kids.

4. PRIZES: One (1) entry will be randomly chosen from all qualified entries to receive the Grand Prize. The Grand Prize winner will receive a K2 Bike for himself/herself and bikes for all students in his/her class. (Maximum class size: 30) Total ARV of Grand Prize: $18,000. ÔFavorite Park' voting results from all eligible print and online polling will be tallied. The park with the highest number of votes will be chosen as the ÔFavorite Park.' The ÔFavorite Park' will receive 10 K2 Bikes on behalf of Ford. ARV for all 10 bikes: $6,000. Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible entries received. No substitutions, transfers or cash equivalent will be awarded; however, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in its sole discretion if advertised prizes are unavailable. Any trademarks used in this sweepstakes are the property of the respective trademark owners and are used herein for identification purposes only. Prizes will be awarded in the name of the winner. Winner's parent/ legal guardian is responsible for paying any applicable federal, state and local taxes, and all other expenses associated with any prize not explicitly stated herein as being awarded.

5. WINNER NOTIFICATION: Winners will be notified by phone on May 28, 2003 and may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability release, a federal and state tax release within fourteen (14) days of issuance of these documents. If potential winner fails to timely return the properly signed affidavit and releases or other prize documentation or chooses to decline a prize for any reason or fails to comply with any other requirements, the prize may be forfeited, and an alternate winner may be selected. Return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable or inability of Sponsor to contact a potential winner may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner by random drawing. All taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner's parent/ guardian. The Contest is governed by the laws of the State of New York, with venue in New York County, New York, and all claims must be resolved in the appropriate state and federal courts of New York County, New York.

6. CONDITIONS: Employees of Time Inc., Ford Motor Company and their subsidiaries and affiliates, advertising agencies, and the employees' immediate family members are not eligible to enter. All federal state and local laws and regulation apply.

7. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: By entering the Contest, all entrants hold harmless the released parties from any liability whatsoever for any claims, costs, injuries, losses, liability, actions or damages of any kind or in connection with: (1) entering Contest, (2) acceptance of any prize or (3) anything related to the Contest and the awarding of prizes.

8. WINNERS' LIST: For the names of the winners, available after June 15, 2003, send a self-addressed stamped envelope (except VT residents) to Ford Pick Your Park Sweepstakes, Time For Kids, 1271 Avenue of the Americas, 25th Floor, New York, NY 10020. Requests must be received by June 30, 2003.

9. SPONSOR: The Sponsor and administrator of the Contest is TIME For Kids and Ford Motor Company.

10. INTERNET: Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the sweepstakes or in the announcement of the prize. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, mutilated or illegible entries nor for electronic transmission errors resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions or limitations of any kind, or inaccurate transmissions of or failure to receive entry information by Sponsor or presenter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or any combination thereof. If for any reason the Internet portion of the program is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this sweepstakes, the Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the sweepstakes. Caution: Any attempt by a contestant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the game is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such contestant to the fullest extent of the law.
