OFFICIAL RULES FOR THE 2004 TOYOTA SIENNA STOWAWAY SWEEPSTAKES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

CHALLENGE STARTS APRIL 7, 2003 12:01 A.M. E.T. AND ENDS MAY 19, 2003 11:59 PM. E.T. 1. ELIGIBILITY: The challenge is open until May 19, 2003 to kids age 8 to 13 as of April 6, 2003 who are legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia. Entrants must receive permission from their parent/legal guardian prior to entry and have them sign the entry form. Employees and their immediate families (spouse, parents, children, siblings and their respective spouses), including household members of Time Inc., Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A. Inc. (TMS) and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions and advertising and promotion agencies are not eligible to enter or win. This sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Time For Kids, and the independent judges whose decisions are final and binding in all respects. Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility qualifications of the winners.

2. HOW TO ENTER: To enter, visit www.timeforkids.com/familyfun and follow the instructions for submitting your answer to The 2004 Toyota Sienna Stowaway Sweepstakes. If you do not have a computer, fill out the entry form and mail to: The 2004 Toyota Sienna Stowaway Sweepstakes, Time For Kids, P.O. Box 5175; New York, NY 10185-5175. Mailed entries must be postmarked by May 12, 2003 and be received by May 19, 2003. All entries become the property of the Sponsor. Sponsor will not acknowledge receipt of entries. Lost, late, illegible, and postage due entries are not eligible. Sponsor reserves the right to remove the sweepstakes from any web site(s) at any time prior to the entry deadline. Limit one entry per person and per email address per day. In the event of a dispute, entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. "Authorized Account Holder" means the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.

3. PRIZE DRAWING: One (1) Grand Prize winner and ten (10) runners-up will be selected in a random drawing from the correct responses submitted. Winners will be selected on or about May 26, 2003. Selection will be conducted by Time For Kids.

4. PRIZES: Grand Prize: One (1) trip for winner and three (3) guests ("Guest(s)") to winner's choice of either Universal Studios Hollywood TM OR Universal Orlando ® Resort. Trip consists of round trip coach air transportation for winner and Guests from a major airport near winner's residence to a major airport near winner's chosen destination, standard hotel accommodations for winner and Guests (one room; quad occupancy) for two nights, four 4-day 2-park admission tickets to Universal Orlando ® Resort or four 1-day tickets to Universal Studios Hollywood TM, round trip ground transportation between airport/hotel near destination city, and $400 in spending money for winner. Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") of prize is: $4,000. Actual value will depend on point of departure and any airfare fluctuations. Ten (10) runners-up will each receive one Quantum Pad TM learning system with an Inside Scoop book and corresponding audio cartridge. Total approximate retail value of each runners-up prize: $64.98. For Grand Prize: Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible Online and Mail Entries received. Travel must be final-booked at least sixty (60) days prior to trip commencement and trip must be completed by May 31, 2004. Air transportation provided only if winner resides more than 100 miles from destination. Trip subject to air travel and hotel availability, holiday and blackout dates, and all other prize and travel restrictions. Once determined, no change, extension, or substitution of trip destination or dates is permitted, except by Sponsor at its sole discretion. Winner and his/her Guests must take air travel on same itinerary. If the winner and/or a Guest is from a jurisdiction that deems him/her to be a minor, he/she must be accompanied by his/her parent/legal guardian, and such person must pay his/her own expenses unless such person is the winner or one of the winner's allotted Guests. Each winner is solely responsible for all other unspecified incidentals, including, but not limited to, any and all ground transportation (except for round trip ground transportation between airport/hotel in destination city), meals, gratuities, phone calls, and any other expenses not specifically mentioned as being included. Limit one (1) prize per household address. No substitution, transfer or cash equivalent for prizes (or prize components), except that Sponsor may substitute a prize (or prize component) of equal or greater value for any reason. Any depictions of prizes are for illustrative purposes only. All federal, state, local or other taxes are the sole responsibility of each winner. Any trademarks used in this Sweepstakes are the property of the respective trademark owners and are used herein for identification purposes only. If winner is from a jurisdiction that deems him/her to be a minor, prize will be awarded in the name of his/her parent/legal guardian.

5. WINNER NOTIFICATION: Winners will be notified by phone on May 28, 2003 and may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability release, a federal and state tax release within fourteen (14) days of issuance of these documents. If potential winner fails to timely return the properly signed affidavit and releases or other prize documentation or chooses to decline a prize for any reason or fails to comply with any other requirements, the prize may be forfeited, and an alternate winner may be selected. Return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable or inability of Sponsor to contact a potential winner may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner by random drawing. All taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner's parent/ guardian. The Contest is governed by the laws of the State of New York, with venue in New York County, New York, and all claims must be resolved in the appropriate state and federal courts of New York County, New York.

6. CONDITIONS: Employees of Time Inc., Toyota and their subsidiaries and affiliates, advertising agencies, and the employees' immediate family members are not eligible to enter. All federal state and local laws and regulations apply.

7. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: By entering the Sweepstakes, all entrants hold harmless the released parties and Sponsors from any liability whatsoever for any claims, costs, injuries, losses, liability, actions or damages of any kind or in connection with: (1) entering Sweepstakes, (2) acceptance of any prize or (3) anything related to the Sweepstakes and the awarding of prizes. TMS and its respective parents, subsidiaries and affiliated companies (the "Toyota Entities") maintain no control over the personnel, equipment, or operation of any air, water or surface carrier, ship line, bus or limousine company, transportation company, hotel, restaurant, or other person or entity furnishing service, products, or accommodations as a part of the prize provided under this contest, since Toyota is not in any way related to the suppliers. The Toyota Entities shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, expense, accident, delay, inconvenience, or other irregularity that may be caused or contributed to (1) by wrongful, negligent, or unauthorized act or omission on the part of any of those suppliers or any of their agents, servants, employees, or independent contractors, (2) by any defect in or failure of any vehicle, equipment, instrumentality, service, product, or accommodation that is owned, operated, furnished, or otherwise used by any of those suppliers, (3) by the wrongful, negligent, or unauthorized act of omission on the part of any other person or entity not an employee of the Toyota Entities, or (4) by any cause, condition, or event whatsoever beyond the control of the Toyota Entities.

8. WINNERS' LIST: For the names of the winners, available after June 15, 2003, send a self-addressed stamped envelope (except VT residents) to The 2004 Toyota Sienna Stowaway Sweepstakes, Time For Kids, 1271 Avenue of the Americas, 25th Floor, New York, NY 10020. Requests must be received by July 1, 2003.

9. SPONSOR: The Sponsors for the contest are TIME For Kids, Toyota and for the grand prize, Universal Studios Theme Parks. The administrator of the Contest is TIME For Kids and Toyota.

10. INTERNET: Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the sweepstakes or in the announcement of the prize. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, mutilated or illegible entries nor for electronic transmission errors resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions or limitations of any kind, or inaccurate transmissions of or failure to receive entry information by Sponsor or presenter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or any combination thereof. If for any reason the Internet portion of the program is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this sweepstakes, the Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the sweepstakes. Caution: Any attempt by a contestant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the game is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such contestant to the fullest extent of the law.
