Sydney is home to the world famous Sydney Opera House, which sits on Bennelong Point overlooking the Sydney Harbour. The Opera House was opened by Queen Elizabeth II in 1973. It featured the Australian Opera's production of War and Peace by Prokofiev as its first performance. The Sydney Harbour is home to the Sydney Harbour Bridge, the world's largest steel arch bridge.
