Located in southeast England on the River Cam, Cambridge is home to one of one of the oldest universities in the world. The University of Cambridge is also one of the largest in the United Kingdom. The city was built early in the thirteenth century. Much of its old medieval architecture can still be seen, including winding streets and churches with steeples.
