Jokulsarlon iceberg lagoon The Jokulsarlon iceberg lagoon sits at the southern edge of Vatnajokull (vAt´nAyO´kool) glacier. Vatnajokull is the largest of Iceland's many glaciers, covering about 3,200 square miles of land. The icebergs floating in the lagoon were once a part of the great glacier, which is slowly melting.
